Learn the art of boxing in a completely fun and safe environment. We offer group fitness classes for everyone ages 6 and up.

No Boxing experience whatsoever? Not a problem! Whether you have no experience at all or have trained your whole life, you’ll all be taking the same exact class learning all the same techniques. Train with other competitive and Professional Boxer’s, learning from the absolute best!

Each class you will be taught and continually work on the fundamentals of boxing. You will learn the proper footwork, balance and technique to develop the maximum power and accuracy on all of your punches and combinations (straight, hooks, upper cuts). You will also learn ring generalship and defense such as lateral movement, slipping and catching punches. Each class starts with jump roping and finishes with core work (sit-ups, medicine ball, the wheel). As your punches develop, so will your stamina, earning you the best shape of your life regardless of your age.

Boxing helps especially, considering when one punches the heavy bag, they are relieving this tension, increasing concentration helping one forget why they were even stressed in the first place.

The anaerobic breakdown of your large muscle groups such as legs, back, chest and arms will reshape your body as well as raise your metabolic rate! This Program can help your child with more than just getting exercise. This sport requires so much strength, control and stamina. Boxing can help sharpen your child’s problem solving skills and will teach them about overall health and fitness. Extreme focus is needed during these classes, in which can help in the classroom. Boxing can help control one’s anger and aggression, being taught self-discipline and determination. These classes are great for everyone and is also a great way for siblings and family to do something together. Best of all, are the new relationships being built, meeting other children with the same interest and especially the unbreakable bond between your children and their Coach.

They set goals with their Coaches and will do everything they can to accomplish those goals feeling proud and happy for overcoming something so challenging, in which gives them the motivation to continue wanting to improve. Boxing requires intense concentration and improves children’s mental strength, memory and focus. This program teaches self-defense, helping your children feel and become more confident. Your child will be so much stronger, more respectful toward their peers and be proud of themselves as they continue to grow, learn and accomplish new goals during each class.

Taylor Duerr, Undefeated Professional Boxer has been boxing since he were just a child. His talent is simply extraordinary and he’s got a passion for Boxing like no other. Coach Taylor is by far the best in the city and will teach you everything you need to know. He will help train you like a champion, become stronger, more confident, while also learning self-defense.

Coach Bob, Owner of Old School Fitness has over 25 years of Boxing experience. His knowledge is different than any other gym around. He was taught and trained by the best Coaches from Kronk Gym in Detroit.

If you really want to learn everything there is to know about Boxing, you can trust that Bob, Taylor, Matt will all teach you exactly how it’s done. These fitness classes are intense, but you will be getting an incredible workout, and have a lot of fun doing it. Most of all, you’ll be training with real fighters and some of the best Coaches in the area.

The following is the schedule for our Boxing Program ages 13 years and up:

Monday & Friday Morning:

6:00 AM - 7:00 AM

Tuesday & Thursday Morning:

9:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Monday - Friday Evening:
5:45 PM - 6:45 PM

7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Saturday’s:
10:30 AM - 11:30AM

12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

Kid’s Boxing Program ages 7-12 years old:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s:

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Your first visit must be reserved. Please arrive 10-15 minutes earlier on your first visit. We will supply wraps and gloves for you.
